Welcome to my web page, I consider myself a seasoned tournament angler with experience in tournament fishing coast to coast. Recently, I retired from the United States Army after serving this great country for over twenty-one years. Like most soldiers I have been around the world a few times and seen more than the average bear. Retiring from the service was the greatest challenge of my life. However, thanks to that choice I now have the opportunity to explore my passion, and love for bass fishing. Fishing tournaments is a blast and has opened up doors that would have otherwise been shut. My favorite door has been the time with my family on the water. My wife (Petra) and son (Clayton) both have taken on the challenge of competitive bass fishing. It is not always easy working with the family as their coach and mentor, but the joys far outweigh the challenges. I also mentor the Kids of the Southwest a small Federation Nation Club based in Las Cruces, NM. I encourage all anglers to get involved with our youth after all they are the future whereas we are the legacy. I can not thank those who support me enough without their backing I could not pursue the challenges of tournament bass fishing. As an angler I have not, and will not seek sponsorship from a company that I do not use or believe in. So if you see me on a blog or forum backing a product you don't have to wonder if he is getting paid to say that. The simple answer is YES I AM but rest assured I fully support and endorse the products I back. My greatest take away from the Army are the values that are instilled in oneself. Words like integrity, loyalty, and honor take on a whole new meaning; they are no longer words they are a way of life. Unlike other anglers I am not depending on my tournament winnings or endorsements to pay the bills my Army Retirement off sets that concern. I hope you enjoy my page as it will surely grow.
